As per the instruction from my office i had to go for a commissioning in a big prestigious shopping mall of UAE..which was not my project..
When i reached there i found that many of the panels are missing a battery redundancy wire..so i informed the concerned about the problem..
He is from UK..but koothara..kuzhimadiyan..he was so desperate as the site is going to be handed over in 2 days..he asked me where he will get it..
As that was factory fabricated i told him that he has to order it..and its going to take 2 weeks for air freight...
He was desp and afraid..so i thought i would help him..i tried to forget the fact that this people ruled my grandfathers for centuries...
So i asked him to buy some components and bring to our office..and he did that without fail...
Now its my turn.. as usual i forgot about this and went home..On the day of handing over he came to collect the cable...
..i was stunned since i had no tool left with me..no crimper ..no soldering iron..nothing...
..I had no other way..i prayed for forgiveness to NEMA and NFPA codes,,.the cable was critical because that batteries had a chance for explosion
and took the ultimate tool..a hammer and a screwdriver..and i managed to fabricate the damn thing..and he ran with the cable to the site...
..since i was not feeling well i took leave afternoon...and i slept.....
....It was the next day morning..when i got into my office..i saw the english man sitting before my PM..i noticed some changes on him...He had blond hair and moustache..and now its black....
I asked him...Mr.X what had happened to your hair..you coloured it?...
He replied in UK accent... No ..jittu.. i just connected that cable to the panel and switched it on...BOOM...and some light...i cant remember anything else..the whole damn area blown off..
my throught dried , i died for a glass of water then i heard the siren of a police vehicle....
..I woke up all of a sudden,,,panting.. i was sweating in AC..and drank a bottle of water.......
..
..i tried to call up the office and asked our secretary..any news...?.....
